Wetland nature reserve created along River Thames

Work has begun on a new wetland nature reserve along the River Thames in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.

The River of Life project aims to provide a new home for a range of wildlife and plants, including some which are under threat.

It is costing £1m and has been funded by the Environment Agency and locally-raised funds.
