Riot Club film could put 'bright' kids off Oxford uni

A new film based on the excesses and debaucheries of elite students at an English university is "not helpful" for prospective students in Oxford, according to the union.

The Riot Club, based on a play inspired by the University of Oxford's Bullingdon Club, shows the secret world of the group where David Cameron, George Osborne and Boris Johnson have been members.

As part of his preparation, actor Max Irons "met a couple of the 'Buller' boys" who confirmed the world depicted in the film "isn't actually far from the truth".
