Police called in to round up unruly sheep in Chipping Norton

Police officers were called in to help round up a flock of unruly sheep on the loose in an Oxfordshire town high street.

Thames Valley Police responded after a sheep called Mavis escaped from a farm near Chipping Norton, taking the woolly mob of 16 with her.

Ursula-May Halifax, who owns the sheep, said: "I've no idea where they were going. They've just gone out for a wander and caused absolute havoc."
