David Cameron's rise from Witney MP to UK prime minister

David Cameron is officially stepping down as prime minister and will focus on being the MP for Witney.

Mr Cameron has been the PM since 2010, but announced he would step down after losing the EU referendum in June.

The BBC has followed Mr Cameron since his early days as an Oxfordshire MP.
