'Cheating' pigeon champion investigated after race from France

A national pigeon racing association is investigating allegations that a former champion cheated to win a race.

Eamon Kelly, 52, from Didcot, allegedly registered 14 birds for the race, then kept them in his loft while sending another set to France.

The National Flying Club has launched an investigation.

In 2004 BBC News spoke to Mr Kelly about his success with racing partner Frank Lloyd, who passed away in 2008.
