Video diary: Didcot to Oxford as engineering works bite

The rail line between Didcot and Oxford was shut at the weekend until 14 August for engineering works.

The line is being raised at Hinksey to prevent it from being flooded, but this is causing major travel disruption.

Dozens of replacement bus services have been laid on to get passengers into the city.

The BBC's Andrew Douglas recorded his experience of the journey.
