40 Commando trains on Salisbury Plain for Afghan tour

A Royal Marine commanding officer has said he hopes for fewer casualties during his unit's latest tour of Afghanistan.

Somerset's 40 Commando group, which lost 14 men during a tour in 2010, will leave for the country in the next few weeks.

The marines have just finished their final training exercise on Salisbury Plain.
