Somerset's Uncle books reprinted thanks to fan's campaign

A series of books about an eccentric millionaire elephant called Uncle are going to be republished, 50 years after they were written by a Somerset minister.

The Reverend JP Martin penned the stories for his children in the village of Timberscombe and they were illustrated by Sir Quentin Blake.

A publisher - and fan of the books - has started a fund to get the stories reprinted.
