WW1 airfield homes plan at Sarum Airfield revealed

Plans have been released to build 470 homes close to one of the country's last usable World War One airfields.

The land, at Old Sarum near Salisbury, is a conservation area but Wiltshire Council says the area needs more homes.

Managing director of the airfield, Grenville Hodge, told BBC Points West's Paul Clifton "local people do not want to see the historic airfield ruined by additional housing".
