Bridgwater lorry smash damage victim had been in garage

A woman whose home was crashed into by a scrap metal lorry says she thought a "plane had come down" on top of her.

The lorry hit a telephone pole and street light before smashing into Maggie Butcher's home in the village of Bawdrip, near Bridgwater, last week.

Ms Butcher, who was home at the time, said she "came that close" to being killed.
