Tigger the cat bounces back after legal row

A lost pet cat is back home after a legal row prevented him from being returned to his family.

Tigger went missing in 2012 from his home in Drayton Bassett, Staffordshire. He had been microchipped which his owner Karen Young believed meant that if he was found, he would be returned.

But she was told recently his whereabouts couldn't be revealed because of data protection laws. Petlog, a microchip database, wrote to her saying someone else had applied for his ownership.

Ms Young turned to social media to find him, and the pair have been reunited.
