Suffolk County Council accused of bullying school staff

A council has been accused of bullying and intimidating staff and governors of a school caught up in an apparent computer sales scam.

Head teacher at Glemsford Primary School, Liz Steele, was suspended pending the results of an investigation. The entire board of governors was also subsequently suspended.

In a statement the county council said it had taken legal advice and offered guidance to school staff on how to act during a serious investigation of this nature. It also said it was wrong to claim that anyone had been threatened.
