National Grid reduces pylons in Suffolk power line plan

National Grid said two sections of a proposed new Suffolk power line would go underground rather than using pylons.

Along the 17-mile route of the planned line between Bramford and Twinstead a total of five miles could go underground, adding £150m to the £50m cost.
