IES Breckland free school in special measures

A flagship free school run by a Swedish company in Suffolk has been put into special measures by Ofsted 18 months after it opened.

Among the problems identified at the IES Breckland School in Brandon were inadequate teaching and poor behaviour from pupils.

The company says it has already made improvements and is appointing new teachers in a bid to turn the school around.
