Ipswich Vera Lynn Trust school shuts over cash crisis
A school which caters for children in Suffolk with serious conditions such as cerebral palsy is to close next week because of financial difficulties.
The school in Sproughton near Ipswich supports 14 pupils and their families and was taken over by the Vera Lynn Trust four years ago.
It is due to close next Thursday and its six staff will lose their jobs.
In a statement the trust spoke of its sadness and regret over its failure to make the school work financially.
