Ipswich Town score at end of minute's applause for Chris Reynolds

A minute's applause for an Ipswich Town fan ended with his team scoring the opening goal on Saturday.

Friends and fans arranged the applause for Chris Reynolds, 21, from Lowestoft, who died last week.

The clapping began in the 21st minute of Ipswich's 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest at Portman Road.

At the end of the minute, Daryl Murphy opened the scoring.

Nathan Sustins, who arranged the applause via his Twitter account, said: "Chris would have been amazed."
