Ed Sheeran appointed MBE in Queen's Birthday Honours list

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is to be appointed MBE for services to music and charity.

The 26-year-old was recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.

Sheeran grew up in Framlingham, Suffolk, and had a hit single with the song Castle On The Hill, written about the town.
