Stalking victim Dr Alison Hewitt 'moves on with life'
A woman who was stalked by a former boyfriend has said she is finally starting to piece her life together.
Canadian Al Amin Dhalla was jailed in 2012 for harassing Alison Hewitt, from Sussex, and setting fire to her mother's home. Dr Hewitt said his crimes had a "massive impact" on her life.
Det Ch Insp Rebecca Mears, from Thames Valley Police, told BBC reporter Piers Hopkirk police feared Dhalla wanted to kidnap and kill Dr Hewitt and possibly her parents, and officers believed they had prevented up to three murders.
