Campaign to beat burglary 'spike' after clocks change
As the dark nights draw in, police forces across the South East are working together to tackle a three-week "spike" in burglaries which takes place after the clocks go back.
Officers in Surrey, Sussex, Kent and the Thames Valley are working to catch offenders and teach people about what they can do to protect themselves from becoming victims, including locking up and leaving lights on.
South East Today's Piers Hopkirk spoke to Det Chief Insp Tanya Jones and PCSO Andreanna Woods from Sussex Police and Craig Church of H&T Pawnbrokers.
