East Sussex primary schools below average

East Sussex is fourth from bottom of an Ofsted league table for the number of pupils going to primary schools rated good or outstanding.

Nationally more than 80% of primary schools achieve the top two ratings, but in East Sussex the figure is 62% - a 6% fall since last year.

In East Sussex, 84% of secondary schools were rated good or outstanding by the education watchdog.

BBC South East's Victoria Holland spoke to Angela Flynn, the executive head of East Hoathly Church of England Primary School, and Mike Sheridan from Ofsted.
