Shana Grice: Footage of Michael Lane police interview released

A man who stalked and killed his former girlfriend after she rejected him has been found guilty of her murder.

After his arrest, Michael Lane, 27, told Sussex Police he had gone to 19-year-old Shana Grice's Brighton home and found the door to her house open.

He said after finding her body on the bedroom floor he then left the house, being afraid the police would think he had killed her.

Lane was sentenced at Lewes Crown Court to life imprisonment and told he would serve at least 25 years in jail.
