Brighton pensioner Daisy Payne says theft nearly killed her

A 94-year-old woman from Sussex who had £600 stolen on a trip to her local shop has said she was left so traumatised she thought she would die.

Daisy Payne, from Whitehawk in Brighton, had just withdrawn her pension money from the post office.

She believes the money and her purse were stolen a short while later from her shopping trolley.
