Woman goes into rough seas off Brighton to rescue dog

New warnings have been issued for people to stay away from rough seas after a woman was swept off her feet trying to rescue her dog.

Alessandro Intini, 41, who filmed the woman, said: "It was a wall of water which took the girl off her feet."

The woman and the dog were unhurt during the attempted rescue, from the water near Brighton's Palace Pier on Sunday.
