Brother and sister leave intensive care for home

Seriously injured in a car crash, 10-year-old Jack Handyside and his eight-year-old sister, Sophie, were left fighting for their lives.

After the crash in Staindrop, County Durham in September they lay side-by-side on life support machines in intensive care.

But the pair have amazed doctors by the speed of their recovery and they are now back home.

Stuart Whincup reports.
