Bangladeshi community's grief at Tipu Sultan murder
The Bangladeshi community in Sunderland says it is shocked at the murder of Tipu Sultan outside a takeaway in South Shields.
The 32-year-old father of two, from Sunderland and originally from Bangladesh, was found with a single gunshot wound at the back of Herbs n Spice Kitchen in Lake Avenue, South Shields, on Tuesday night.
Syed Khalid Miah, from Sunderland Bangladeshi Community Centre, said their thoughts were with his family.
