Billingham school demolished by two pupils

Two pupils gave the go ahead for their 50-year-old school to be demolished after it was deemed to be no longer fit for purpose.

James, 13, and Mollie, 12, were chosen to flatten St Michael's Catholic Academy in Billingham.

The demolition will take six weeks to complete and a new school is being built nearby.
