Cramlington Library enjoys woolly Christmas
A group of Northumberland women have knitted a special Christmas gift for their local library.
The 25-strong Knit 'n' Natterers group came up with the idea to knit a 7ft (2m) Christmas tree for Cramlington Library.
Working for nearly six months, everything from the branches and baubles to the presents under the tree are made from wool.
It was a busy few months for the group, who continued their usual task of making garments for kids at North Tyneside Hospital's sick children's unit.
