Arson attack priest hosts service
A priest whose Teesside presbytery was damaged in an arson attack has said he has no idea why he was targeted.
Father Patrick McKenna was speaking a special service at St Bede's RC Church in Stockton, which was attended by firefighters who helped tackle the blaze on 29 July.
He was woken by a smoke alarm and escaped unhurt from the presbytery, which adjoins the church.
He praised the fire service and the congregation for their support.
A police investigation is continuing.
