Eyesore yard turned into art hub
Pots of paint and community enthusiasm are transforming a semi-derelict builders' yard in Haltwhistle.
The yard is getting a makeover and is part of the Whistle Arts Stop project which aims to brighten up a run-down part of Northumberland.
Project co-ordinator Alison Raymes said she would be inviting graduates to help with the project and hoped it would inspire emerging artists.
The project is being supported by Northumberland County Council and Hexham Conservative MP Guy Opperman.
Look North's Julie Smith met the artists.
