Newcastle United's 'legendary' tea lady laid to rest

The funeral of Newcastle United's "legendary" tea lady has taken place in Wallsend.

Kath Cassidy served at the club for more than 50 years and retired in 2015.

She worked on match days and saw 26 managers come through the doors at St James' Park.

Among the mourners were former Newcastle United captain Bob Moncur, ex-keeper Steve Harper and chief executive Lee Charnley.
