New railway bridge in Brinkworth labelled a 'monstrosity'
People living in a Wiltshire village have described a new railway bridge as a "monstrosity".
Network Rail replaced a Victorian bridge at Brinkworth with a modern structure as part of its rail electrification programme.
Angry villagers say it looks like a tin can or an armoured personnel carrier. Network Rail said it had to balance the heritage of the railway with the best use of taxpayers' money.
The BBC's Andy Howard reports.
