Daughter of mystery Mallard rail guard comes forward
The identity of the guard on the Mallard when it set the speed record for a steam train has finally been discovered 75 years after the event.
Goods guard Henry Croucher was pictured alongside the rest of the train crew in a number of photographs taken at the time.
