Twelve men who were imprisoned without trial during Troubles in Northern Ireland have claimed new evidence has emerged that proves the UK government subjected them to torture.

Liam Shannon, one of the internees who became known as the Hooded Men, describes the interrogation techniques used against them over a week-long period in 1971.
