David Black: Man charged with prison officer's murder

A 33-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a prison officer as he drove to work in Northern Ireland.

Sean McVeigh from Victoria Street, Lurgan, County Armagh, appeared in court in Craigavon charged with the murder of David Black.

Mr Black, a 52-year-old father of two, was shot dead on the M1 in County Armagh as he went to work at Maghaberry Prison in November 2012.
