Youth taken to police over drugs and drink image

A community worker has described how a father took his son to the police over images the youth posted online before attending the DJ Hardwell gig at the Odyssey arena in Belfast on Thursday.

Jim Donnelly, a community worker in west Belfast, said he told the boy's father about the image after seeing it being shared on various social networking sites.

Mr Donnelly added that drug and alcohol abuse happens on a daily basis, but is not acknowledged because of a lack of media interest.
