Civil servant 'did not fail in duty' over On the Run scheme

The most senior civil servant in the Department of Justice has denied he failed in his duty by not informing David Ford about the existence of the On the Run scheme.

Nick Perry was a former senior official with the Northern Ireland Office, which administered the scheme.
