Patients waiting 'over 25 hours' in Royal Victoria Hospital
Two patients have been waiting on a hospital trolley in Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital's emergency department for more than 29 hours, the BBC has learned.
Chair of the Health Committee, Maeve McLaughlin, told Colm Donaghy that she had been told of patients waiting over 25 hours as the meeting was taking place.
Mr Donaghy, chief executive of the Belfast Health Trust, said he was going to look into the claims following Wednesday's committee meeting.
