Omagh bomb accused to appear in court

A man is due to appear in court in County Tyrone later, charged with the murders of 29 people who were killed in the 1998 Omagh bomb.

Seamus Daly, 43, from Culloville, County Monaghan, was arrested by serious crime branch detectives in Newry on Monday.

The Real IRA attack was the worst single atrocity of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. The victims included a woman who was pregnant with twins.

Chris Buckler reports.
