Sinn Fein's Martina Anderson is first MEP for Northern Ireland
Sinn Féin's Martina Anderson has been declared the first MEP to be elected in Northern Ireland.
Ms Anderson passed the quota of 156,532 by over 3,000 first preference votes.
The DUP's Diane Dodds came second in first-preference votes with 131,163 but failed to make the quota.
Mark Brotherston of the NI Conservatives was excluded, and his votes will be transferred.
The results were announced by Chief Electoral Officer, Graham Shields.
