Police: Bomb attack 'reckless and deliberate attack to put lives in danger'

The Police Service of Northern Ireland has said those responsible for a bomb that exploded in a Londonderry hotel are cowards, calling it a 'reckless and deliberate attack to put innocent lives in danger'.

PSNI Chief Superintendent Stephen Cargin said that a hooded masked man left a holdall on the counter, said he was from the "new IRA" and gave staff 40 minutes to evacuate the hotel.
