Everglades Hotel firebomb: PSNI recruitment event to go ahead

A PSNI recruitment event is to go ahead at a Londonderry hotel on Friday, a week after a firebomb attack.

A masked man threw the device into the reception area of the Everglades Hotel on 29 May. He claimed he was from the IRA.

A senior police officer said they consulted with the hotel about going ahead with the event.
