Teacher's pet: Guide dog, Bart, the first to attend a NI school

Seventeen-year-old student James Cunningham has a medical condition which severely restricts his eyesight.

In the summer, he got a new guide dog and since the beginning of the new school year, Bart the retriever cross has been going to school with him.

It is the first time a guide dog has been to school with a pupil in Northern Ireland, as Conor Macauley reports for BBC Radio Ulster's Tackback programme.
