McGuinness: Budget deal proposed is 'best possible given the circumstances'

Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness has described the current budget proposals by Finance Minister Simon Hamilton as "the best deal possible in the circumstances that we are faced with".

He added that anyone who would say different is "living in a fantasy world".

Ministers are meeting on Thursday to discuss a draft document on the executive's finances for 2015/2016.

If the draft budget is not agreed by Friday, Stormont will lose out on a £100m loan from the Treasury.
