Woman shot by masked intruders in Newtownabbey

A woman has been shot in the legs after two men forced their way into her home on the outskirts of north Belfast.

The woman, 47, and two men were in a flat at Ballyronan Park in Rathcoole, Newtownabbey, County Antrim, at about 19:45 GMT on Sunday when the masked men came in.

The woman fled from the flat but was shot in both legs outside.
