Archive: Portavogie trawler dragged at sea in 1987

Archive: Portavogie trawler, "Summer Morn", is safely back in port after being dragged across the Irish Sea for three hours by what was believed to be an American submarine.

The crew managed to free the trawler by cutting the nets. Pieces of the submarine's sonar equipment were recovered by another local fishing vessel.
