Upper Bann - To hold or to lose for the DUP?

For those trying to ensure the two largest unionist parties agreed as wide-ranging a voting pact in the general election as possible, Upper Bann was the one that got away.

The DUP, which holds the seat, wanted the Ulster Unionists to stand aside claiming a split vote could allow Sinn Féin to win.

The Ulster Unionists believe it is possibly their best chance of getting back to Westminster.
