Lisburn lightning strike: Minister praises efforts of teachers
The father and his children injured in a lightning strike in Lisburn on Tuesday are still in hospital.
The Education Minister Peter Weir visited Killowen Primary School and praised the efforts of teachers who came to the aid of George Allen and his seven-year-old daughter and five-year-old son.
As BBC News NI's Will Leitch reports, it has now emerged that both the principal and vice principal worked with the injured family members until paramedics arrived.
