Foster children: Specialised summer scheme 'improves education and emotional well-being'

Dedicated summer schemes for foster children in Northern Ireland are improving their education and emotional well-being, according to the Fostering Network.

Its director, Kathleen Toner, said the children sometimes struggle in a formal school setting, and meeting other children from the same background makes them realise they are not alone.
