Bomb-proof Dungiven police station bought by church

More than half of Northern Ireland's police stations have been sold off in the past decade, and one site has been bought by a Presbyterian Church.

It paid £175,000 for the Dungiven station, which it plans to use for Sunday school classes and Church events.

The two-storey building boasts five bedrooms, a gym, an armoury and a holding cell which Church committee member Ian Buchanan said would make a "good place for some quiet reflection".
