Government review of 'middle class benefits'
The government is planning to review the amount of money spent on so-called 'middle class benefits' like winter fuel allowance and child benefit.
The coalition has promised to protect those benefits but the review may look at freezing future child benefit increases and raising the age for winter fuel payments even sooner.
The news comes as the coalition government reaches its one hundredth day in office.
